Although I have only been carp fishing myself for just over a year now, I’ve been so lucky to of had some incredible experiences and been lucky enough to land and catch some amazing carp. I’ve been hooked ever since my first solo trip at the beginning of 2018. I’ve taken part in the ladies’ carp academy, fished a charity match, been a runner in a BCC match and even ventured to France which ended up being a trip of a lifetime. Managing to beat the guys I went with by landing 6 fish up to 61lb!  I managed to catch the same 60lb twice within three days! Same bait, same tactic and pretty much from the same spot. Meanwhile back home I’m still chasing that Uk 20lb. This year I’m excited to fish my local clubs’ lakes, which is where I’ll be putting in the time this coming summer. No matter what happens, I make sure i always enjoy my time out on the bank!
