I have been fishing for carp for over thirty years now and l intend to continue doing so as long as I can walk from the car to the lake.
Back in the early days of my fishing l cut my teeth on local park lakes in and around Stoke where l had loads of fish and learnt quickly before moving on to the circuit waters Capesthorne hall was and still is a good place to fish where l had fish to 29+ before crossing the A34 to fish Redesmere lake where l was lucky enough to catch one of counties largest carp in the shape of the famous Male Common at 35+ and followed this up with mirrors to 31+ good times and a great bunch of lads.
I then moved on to the day ticket waters Baden hall’s specimen lakes and Cromwell lake being the best and giving me some great fish with friendship’s along the way..
